Ryan Costello's second solo album is his most intimate yet, comprised of 12 stripped down folk-based sonic explorations. Songs of Devotion and Betrayal explores the dichotomy at the heart of what it means to be human - brief glimpses of selfless beauty, but also a hidden capacity for deep darkness.
